'Gang Member': Blockbuster New Evidence Surfaces Tying Dems' Illegal Migrant Poster Child to MS-13

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was accused of gang ties as early as 2018 — adding to a growing pile of evidence linking the recently deported Salvadoran national to the violent MS-13 gang.

Court documents filed in Maryland that year allege Garcia was involved in gang activity — a claim that resurfaced as political pressure mounts over whether U.S. officials wrongfully deported him.

The documents, obtained by Fox 45 News, were submitted by Edwin Trejo Ramos, the ex of Garcia’s now-wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, during a custody battle over her two children.

“She is dating a gang member,” Ramos wrote in a petition for emergency custody.

He further claimed that Sura had attempted suicide and once left the children in the care of an 11-year-old. The judge denied the emergency hearing in September 2018 and later dismissed the petition on jurisdictional grounds in early 2019. The gang member was not named in the filing — but the timeline points squarely at Garcia.

Sura, a U.S. citizen, met Garcia in 2016. They began living together in 2018 and married in June 2019 while Garcia was in ICE custody, separated by security glass. Their son was born later that year.

Both Garcia and his family insist he is not affiliated with any gang. But the 2018 petition is just one piece of a larger puzzle.

During President Donald Trump’s sit-down interview with ABC News on Tuesday night, Terry Moran claimed that Garcia’s tattoos do not show he is an MS-13 gang member, but that his tattoos were “photoshopped.”

This is an easily falsifiable claim. First of all, you can clearly see Garcia’s faded tattoos on his knuckles and on his elbow.

It’s not the only tattoo that ties Garcia to the notorious criminal gang.

The star on his elbow is also affiliated with the murderous group.

Multiple experts have concluded from the evidence that Garcia is an MS-13 gang member.

Maryland Sheriff Jeff Gahler told Fox News, "It's absolutely appalling that this is where Chris Van Hollen and many Democrats... want to focus their efforts.”

“I 100% believe — 1000% believe him to be an MS-13 member... this is an individual who should not be in our country," he added.

In March 2019, a confidential informant told the Prince George’s County Police Department gang unit that Garcia was an active member of MS-13. That tip was included in a police report cited by the U.S. Department of Justice. Garcia had been arrested for loitering with three other men in a Home Depot parking lot in Hyattsville, Maryland.

According to the report, Garcia wore a Chicago Bulls hat and hoodie — symbols the gang unit detective said were linked to MS-13. Officers contacted a known, reliable source who confirmed Garcia was a “Chequeo,” a mid-level gang rank, in the Western clique of MS-13, and that he used the street name “Chele.” Two of the men arrested with him were also linked to the gang.

Garcia wasn’t charged after that incident. But last month, Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained and deported him to El Salvador along with 260 others flagged as suspected gang members — despite a prior immigration judge ruling that granted him protection from removal.

A Justice Department attorney, Erez Reuveni, later acknowledged in court that Garcia’s deportation was the result of an “administrative error.” Reuveni, who has since been fired from his role under Attorney General Pam Bondi, did not challenge the underlying gang allegations — only the way Garcia’s deportation was carried out.

After arriving in El Salvador, Garcia was briefly held at the country’s infamous CECOT “megaprison” before being moved to a lower-security facility earlier this month.

The Biden administration has sought to comply with court orders to reverse the deportation. A federal judge instructed the government to “take all available steps” to facilitate Garcia’s return — a ruling later upheld unanimously by the U.S. Supreme Court.

“The [lower court] order properly requires the Government to ‘facilitate’ Abrego Garcia’s release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador,” the high court wrote.

Solicitor General John Sauer responded by arguing the government has limited leverage in this case.

“The United States does not control the sovereign nation of El Salvador, nor can it compel El Salvador to follow a federal judge’s bidding,” Sauer wrote in a filing earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Garcia’s cause has become a rallying cry among pro-immigrant activists and Democratic lawmakers. Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) visited Garcia during a recent trip to El Salvador.

“He said he felt very sad about being in a prison because he had not committed any crimes,” Van Hollen told The Post. “When I asked him what was the one thing he would ask for in addition to his freedom, he said he wanted to talk to his wife, Jennifer.”

Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD), chair of the House Freedom Caucus, pushed back hard.

“While Democrats are flying to El Salvador to demand the return of an illegal immigrant with MS-13 gang ties, more information is coming out about his involvement in the gang,” Harris said. “This is not a U.S. citizen. Abrego Garcia came here illegally, never gained legal status, and now he’s back where he belongs.”
