Newly released January 6 video footage obtained by Fox News host Tucker Carlson shows Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick walking around the capitol after he was supposedly killed by protesters.
Sicknick was walking around the capitol rotunda with a helmet on after he was reportedly struck in the head with a fire extinguisher and killed. A plethora of media outlets, including the New York Times, reported or implied that Sicknick was beaten to death by the January 6 protesters.
Carlson called it “the single most powerful and politically useful lie that Democrats have told us about January 6.”

Disinfo Czar is Subpoenaed to Testify Before Congress on ‘Weaponization’ of Government
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Monday issued a subpoena to former Disinformation Governance Board head Nina Jankowicz. She is being called to testify as a part of the GOP investigation into the weaponization of the federal government.
Jordan issued a subpoena for Jankowicz, as well as former CEO of the National School Boards Association Chip Slaven, and National Assessment Governing Board Trustee Viola Garcia. Jordan had initially sent interview requests to the trio in late January.

Internal documents released in response to a lawsuit show the government was deeply involved in pushing for face-scanning technology that could be used for mass surveillance
The FBI and the Defense Department were actively involved in research and development of facial recognition software that they hoped could be used to identify people from video footage captured by street cameras and flying drones, according to thousands of pages of internal documents that provide new details about the government’s ambitions to build out a powerful tool for advanced surveillance.
The documents, revealed in response to an ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit the American Civil Liberties Union filed against the FBI, show how closely FBI and Defense officials worked with academic researchers to refine artificial-intelligence techniques that could help in the identification or tracking of Americans without their awareness or consent.
Many of the records relate to the Janus program, a project funded by the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency, or IARPA, the high-level research arm of the U.S. intelligence community modeled after the Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, known as DARPA.

China’s Foreign Minister Says Ties With U.S. Risk Going Off the Rails
China’s foreign minister warned that the U.S. strategy toward China risked plunging the countries into conflict and pledged to continue responding strongly to what he viewed as persistent attacks on Beijing by Washington.
In a news conference Tuesday on the sidelines of China’s annual gathering of its National People’s Congress in Beijing, Qin Gang said the Biden administration was being insincere when it said it wanted to erect guardrails around the relationship, warned the U.S. against engaging in “new McCarthyism” and praised China’s ties with Russia.

Newsom slams Walgreens, says California will cease doing business with company
California Gov. Gavin Newsom slammed Walgreens in a tweet Monday morning, saying California would no longer be doing business with the chain and linking to a CNN story about the company not distributing abortion pills to 20 states. “California won’t be doing business with Walgreens or any company that cowers to extremists and puts women’s lives at risk.”
“We’re done,” Newsom added in the tweet.
Walgreens last week announced it won’t sell abortion pills by mail to 20 conservative-led states.

If you are actually standing in/on restricted property (private property or public property restricted to government personnel etc), you might have a number of statuses. I don't own the church we attend, or any restaurants, bars, gyms or convenience stores. Yet I enter them freely without fear of arrest. If asked to leave any of those places, I certainly would, because I know what property rights are:
You can be a trespasser: if you have entered the property without legal right, and that's a tort and a crime.
You can be a licensee: if you have a license to use the property
You can be a tenant: if you have a tenancy agreement (sort of a license)
You can be a bailee: if you are the beneficiary of a bailment concerning the property
You can be an invitee: if you have been invited onto the property. If you ARE an invitee, of course, that invitation can be terminated and you can be asked to leave. If you don't, then you are trespassing.
It appears the police are escorting the Shaman in such a way as one might an invitee. No one, escorted in such a << hands off, let's see if this door opens, gee, let's try another hallways and door>> would assume he was NOT invited and not there with the permission and good intentions of the Capitol Police. Almost an Honored Guest.
If they wanted to let him know he was trespassing or not under some acceptable legal status, then they could have surrounded him, handcuffed him and held him for arrest and appearance before a judge.
