Jimmy Kimmel is coming back to late-night television, but not with an apology. According to multiple reports, the $15 million-per-year host will return to ABC on Tuesday night after negotiating directly with Disney CEO Bob Iger and entertainment chief Dana Walden.
Kimmel is expected to address the controversy in his monologue, but sources say he will stop short of apologizing for falsely claiming that Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was part of the “MAGA gang.” Authorities have made clear the shooter held left-wing views.
